Portrayal of a real-life figure Father Gabriele Amorth, a priest who acted as chief exorcist of the Vatican and who performed more than 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime. (He passed away in 2016 at the age of 91.) Amorth wrote two memoirs — An Exorcist Tells His Story and An Exorcist: More Stories — and detailed his experiences battling Satan and demons that had clutched people in their evil. 2023.

  • The Boogeyman – Opened June 2nd:  Adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘The Boogeyman’.High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.
  • Insidious 5 – July 7: Insidious: Fear the Dark is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Patrick Wilson in his directorial debut, with a screenplay by Scott Teems from a story by series creator Leigh Whannell. The film is a direct sequel to Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and serves as both the fifth installment in the Insidious franchise and the fifth installment in terms of chronology.
  • Cobweb – July 21st: No trailer yet. A boy who hears voices in his head decides to unleash them on his abusive parents. Inspired by the short story “the telltale heart” by Edgar Allen Poe.
  • Talk to Me – July 28th: When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
  • Last Voyage of the DemeterAugust 11: Based on a single chapter, the Captain’s Log, from Bram Stoker’s classic 1897 novel Dracula, the story is set aboard the Russian schooner Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo – twenty-four unmarked wooden crates – from Carpathia to London. The film will detail the strange events that befell the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a terrifying presence on board the ship. When it finally arrived near Whitby Harbour, it was a derelict. There was no trace of the crew.
